№ 01 — Full Garden Design

The complete service, from sketch to flower.

A full design service for gardens of any size. We begin with two or three site visits, in different weather, taking notes and photographs. We measure. We soil-test. We ask a hundred questions about how you live.

Then we draw — by hand, on paper — until we've found something that makes all of us smile. Detailed plans, planting lists, and a phased construction and planting schedule follow.

We then build the garden with our own team, or project-manage a trusted contractor if you'd rather. Most full design projects take between six and fourteen months from first visit to final planting.

№ 02 — Planting Design

For gardens with good bones and tired borders.

Some gardens don't need redesigning — they just need replanting. If the hard landscape is working for you but the borders feel dated, dull, or just wrong, we can produce a full planting plan and install it ourselves.

Typical projects include replanting of mixed borders, seasonal renovation of rose gardens, and rethinking the shaded areas that nobody quite knew what to do with.

№ 03 — Single-Visit Consultation

An afternoon, a notebook, and some clarity.

Sometimes you don't need a designer, you need a second opinion. A three-hour visit with Emma or Tom, on-site, followed by a written summary within a week. We'll walk the garden, discuss problems, suggest solutions, and leave you with clear next steps.

Brilliant for people who want to do the work themselves but need expert input before they begin. Also useful if you're buying a property and aren't sure what to do with the garden that comes with it.

— £450, plus travel. Lasts three hours, and it usually saves ten times its cost in mistakes avoided.

№ 04 — Seasonal Care

Coming back, year after year.

For gardens we've designed, we offer an ongoing care programme: four planned visits a year, one per season, plus one or two "intervention" visits when your garden really needs us. We prune, we divide, we rethink planting that isn't quite working, and we advise on everything from watering to wildlife.

It's the way old estate gardens used to be cared for, and it's the only way we know to make sure a garden keeps getting better as it matures.
